BTC-Albania came into being late in 2007 when 2 Albanian IT experts decided to create there own company based around their belief of giving their customers a quality, honest, ongoing and professional relationship with there IT supplier.

The company is divided into 2 units.

Retail, shops supplying PC’s, laptops, peripherals and software to the general public from shops strategically positioned to attract passing trade.

Business Solutions, based in new offices close to the centre of Tirane this division of BTC-Albania concentrates on providing business solutions to Albania’s growing business community as well as the public sector.

The People.

Besides the two owners who have over 15 years of experience in IT they have recruited an English sales manager who has 25 years experience of working in the UK and Europe for IBM, HDS and Olivetti, he is now a resident of Tirane.

All engineering staff are highly qualified in their own fields gaining international qualifications such as CompTia, CCNA and MSCP.

All employees of BTC-Albania have a good knowledge of Microsoft office and will be ICDL qualified.

Products

BTC-Albania retail sells named PC’s and servers as well as building its own servers and pc’s using industry standard grade A components. Networking hardware from network cards to routers are available from major suppliers. Peripherals are from industry leading suppliers such as HP and Samsung. Media and consumables are also sold. BTC-Albania is the only approved supplier of Kaspersky antivirus solutions, which can be purchased in any of the shops.

Business Solutions concentrates on value adding to core products from partners, HP, EMC Vmware and SAP.

HP partner. Selling and supporting HP hardware and solutions to customers in Albania.

EMC Vmware partner. Advising, supporting and selling Vmware solutions to Albanian customers.

Kaspersky Antivirus. Selling antivirus suite to corporate server customers in Albania.

SAP partner. Selling with SAP, ERP solutions to Albania’s larger IT users.

BTC-Albania hopes to complete partnership agreements with two or three other well-known suppliers in the near future to complement the partnerships it already has in place.
